Montréal/Québec

MTL… The City of Saints… Festival City… Montreal has both a modern style and traditional charm that makes the perfect blend of urban life and authenticity. Fine dining, art galleries and boutiques line the streets so there’s a little something for everyone! Once you’re in the area, you won’t want to miss Quebec’s cobblestone streets that will make you feel like you’re strolling down the streets of Europe. When the weather outside is frightful, Quebec remains delightful to visit as you walk through a winter wonderland during the colder months.

Grab breakfast as a group before departing for the Biodome AKA, the “house of life.” One of the world’s first to explore the concept of ecosystems, the Biodome educates visitors on the environment, conservation, and scientific research. After taking a break for lunch, it’s time for take-off. Head over to the Rio Alcan Planetarium for an out-of-this-world experience. Learn about space, astronomy, and life in the universe as you embark on this cosmic journey. When it’s finally time to unfortunately take your head out of the clouds, you’ll still be seeing stars when you taste the food at a French restaurant for dinner. You won’t boo-lieve what we have planned to walk off all that food – a 90-minute ghost tour! #SquadGhouls

After breakfast at the hotel, head over to the Montreal Science Center. From the Fabrik Creativity Factory to traveling exhibition specials (yes, there was a Star Wars and Kung Fu Panda exhibit back in 2018), science takes on a whole new form here. Say sorry to TLC because after lunch, you’re totally chasing waterfalls – specifically, Montmorency Falls. A suspension bridge over the crest of the falls gives you access to both sides of the park. Plan something extra special for dinner by going to one of Montreal’s famous sugar shacks! But wait, what IS a sugar shack and what do you eat there?? From soup to baked ham to donuts, everything is baked with or drowned in maple syrup. Take your time and indulge in every little snack you have here – sugar shacks are a marathon, not a sprint!

Get together for a group breakfast before going to the Huron-Wendat Museum Village. This institution was created to protect and promote the heritage of the Huron-Wendat people. Surrounded by thematic gardens, this museum is a truly enchanting experience. Grab a bite for lunch and depart for Battlefields Park, Canada’s first-ever national historic park. This site was where the French and British empires clashed in the Battle of Sainte-Foy!
