Explore the “Bean Town” Tour

Begin your day when students are the most refreshed and have on shoes made for walking. An emotionally charged and insightful 3-hour tour of The Freedom Trail offers students 2.5 miles of Americana and history through Boston’s most historic neighborhoods. After lunch in the famous North End or perhaps in a tiny cafe right in the Square, students can enjoy free time at the Quincy Market, a 200-year-old marketplace that’s been preserved and renovated throughout time. Once you fill your shopping fix, it’s time to get schooled at the so-fish-ticated New England Aquarium! Hands-on STEAM exhibits, and real-life interactions with stingrays and other magical creatures will leave your students swimming in aquatic knowledge. After exploring beneath the sea – take the party above the surface with an evening Boston dinner cruise.

Day 2 will prove to be FRIGHTFULLY good. No, literally, because after breakfast, you’re headed to Salem. First stop, the Witch Dungeon Museum. Students can experience a mock-witch trial adapted from the 1962 historical transcripts. Afterward, break for lunch at Pickering Wharf before making your way to the House of Seven Gables, made famous from the novel by Nathaniel Hawthorne. While your students will feel they have explored a whole new place – and time – it is a short journey back to Boston for dinner and an evening of live theater. Whether you choose the Blue Man Group or Shear Madness, your cheeks will definitely be sore from all the laughter!

Your final day begins with our hypothesis that your students are in for a great experience! Experiment with wonder at the Museum of Science. As science and technology continue to evolve, it’s becoming increasingly important to shed light on the wonders of the natural and human-made world. This incredible STEAM destination will inspire the scientists of tomorrow – and help them appreciate the brilliant minds that came before us. Next up, learn about another group of fantastic Bostonians – the first people in history to “spill the tea” at the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum. After lunch, it’s time to get quackin’ at the Boston Duck Tours! These unique vehicles go from land to water and back to land again giving you a historical tour that is JUST DUCKY!
