Explore the “City of Angels” Tour

Kick off the day with a tour of Hollywood! Lunch can include healthy fare or just a healthy dose of celebrity sightings. Increase STEAM knowledge (Hey kids, it is not ALL glitz and glamour!) with a tour of the California Science Center. Round out students’ knowledge with a tour of the Natural History Museum, where history truly comes to life. By days end, everyone will be ready for a dinner – and LA has some of the greatest! Pick from eclectic restaurants, Asian-infused, Tex-Mex, Italian – nearly anything your class desires! When the sun sets, teach your students the magic that lies above with a trip to the Griffith Observatory. The sky can truly be the limit on Day 1.

A group breakfast ensures everyone is gathered for another day of learning and leisure! First go back in time….we mean waaaay back to the ICE AGE and experience the La Brea Tar Pits. Even if your students have seen pre-historic displays – they have NEVER seen anything like this! After working up an appetite a quick bite will be in order as students chat about what they have seen! After expanding minds, you can touch hearts with a trip to the Museum of Tolerance. A life-altering experience of better understanding the implications of the Holocaust and racism can inspire students to grow into even kinder adults. Next, you can take students’ breath away at the Getty Museum, well known for its architecture, gardens, and views overlooking Los Angeles. Finally end the day on a lighter and fun note with Dodgers Stadium for dinner and game.

After breakfast and check out everyone will be ready to let their hair down and have a little fun. Experience some very fun “modern culture” with a day at Universal Studios.
