Any path that you go down in your life, a Girl Scout was likely there as well. This trip is taking you down the path to Savannah, where art, southern charm, and ghost stories all fall under the veil of Spanish moss and bring a sweet, charm like most Girl Scouts themselves!

Explore the “Home of Juliet Gordon Low” Tour

Earn your Savannah Try-It Badge or IP by hopping on the Old Town Trolley Tour! Learn from the locals as knowledgeable conductors will share stories, sights, and popular city areas that paint the perfect picture of Southern live in Savannah. Before breaking for lunch, the Discover Daisy’s Savannah bade awaits at the Massie Heritage center! Here you’ll get a glimpse into what life was like for children allll the way back in the nineteenth century! After a sweet, timeless, snack at Leopold’s Ice Cream, you can visit Juliette Gordon Low, the founder of the Girl Scout’s birthplace. Arrrgh mateys!! It’s time to round up the night with dinner at the Pirate House with all the sailors from the seven seas.

Fuel up with a balanced breakfast before departing for the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force. Did you know the Girl Scouts donated a “check” to President Roosevelt during WWII representing 15,430,000 hours of volunteer service?! Complete the tour and be rewarded with your “Women Through Time” badge. After lunch, it’s time for some fin flippin’ fun at a Dolphin sightseeing tour! Their squeaks, eeks, and tricks will have you gushing as you catch them swimming through the waters. After an action-packed day, relax with a group dinner before bed.

Eat breakfast together and prepare for earning your Coastal Georgia Badge at the Tybee Island Marine Science Center. With options for a beach or marsh ecology walk, you can explore coastal ecology while having an amazing time with your troop! After all that walking, splashing, and learning, you’ve earned a nice lunch break before heading to the guided gallery tour. Educators will explain native species, invaders, and exotic coastal creatures. Before you leave, there is one very special surprise – and his name is IKE! The troop will end the tour with a chance to meet a real-life baby loggerhead turtle!
