Explore the “The Great White Way” Tour

You and your students will stand where so few ever get a chance to – BEHIND the curtains of the big stages of Broadway. Start the day off with a behind-the-scenes Broadway walking tour. Professional working actors and stage managers will give you real insight into show business as well as their very own experiences on Broadway. You won’t be able to contain those jazz hands during this tour! Now, talk about not containing jazz hands, you’re headed to lunch at Ellen’s Stardust Diner. You’re going to have amazing food PLUS singing wait staff (one more time for those in the back – SINGING WAIT STAFF!). After munching and humming to the music, you’re going to a hands-on Broadway workshop where the best of the best will be helping you hone in on your theater skills. Grab dinner at Planet Hollywood, where movie memorabilia takes center stage in the heart of Times Square, before wrapping up the night with one of the many shows on Broadway.

The lights. The audience. The excitement. Regardless of the play – whether it be the Lion King, Frozen, or Aladdin – the joy and wonder is all the same! You’ll have an exclusive look at what goes on behind the curtain at Disney’s Behind the Magic Tour. Learn more about show production, costumes, the latest Broadway gossip, and more from an in-house expert. All the singing, dancing, and showmanship will lead to a BIG APPLE sized appetite. Stop by Little Italy, Chinatown, K-Town, or any of the other cultural eats around the area for a quick lunch before heading to the Empire State Building. We don’t know what’s more unforgettable in NYC – the tours, the music, the views, or the food!! Wrap up your night with dinner and yet another Broadway show.

Grab your final breakfast (if you haven’t tried a New York bagel yet, this is your last chance) and check out of the hotel. It’s time for a backstage tour of NBC Studios, home to classics like Saturday Night Live and Late Night with Seth Myers. You’ll even have the chance to produce your very own show before you leave and email it to yourself (technology really IS great). Before leaving The City of Dreams, you’ll have time to catch one final Broadway show to end the trip.
