Chicago

The Smelly Onion… The City of Big Shoulders… And of course, The Windy City! In Chicago, a cultural experience is never a rare find, especially when you have a 15 story ferris wheel that overlooks the Navy Pier and all of Chicago (can’t miss that, huh?). Whether you’re exploring the Field Museum, The Amazon Rising exhibit or the arena where Michael Jordan first took flight – this windy city will have you in a whirlwind of amazing experiences.

One does not delicately explore Chicago so we recommend you LEAP right in. Start your day off with a bang on the wet and wild Seadog thrill ride on Lake Michigan to get hearts and minds racing! Once you’ve gotten your sea legs back, take a break for lunch and try AMAZING, “only in Chicago” deep dish pizza. Enjoy your post pizza carb coma as you relax and watch a masterpiece performed at Chicago’s Shakespeare Theatre. Enjoy a late afternoon stroll through the Crystal Botanical Gardens. Then, it’s time to bring heart rates back up again – with a walk through the Chicago funhouse and a Medieval Times dinner show.

After a satisfying breakfast at the hotel, depart for Chicago’s Museum Campus. This 57-acre (that’s over 50 football fields!) surrounds three of the city’s most notable museums – Adler Planetarium, Shedd Aquarium and the Field Museum of Natural History. Whether you’ve got your head in the stars or aquatic life gives you in-fin-ite joy, there’s something for everyone at the Museum Campus. Don’t forget to break for lunch because you’ll need energy all day! After exploring, head over to dinner on the Navy Pier before venturing to Skydeck-Chicago where you’ll see the most amazing views of not one, not two, but FOUR states from the skyscraper’s observation deck.

After a final group breakfast, it’s time to check out of the hotel and make your way to the Federal Reserve Bank before lunch. Take a tour of one of the 12 regional Reserve Banks in the United States. Post-money talk, it’s time to head over to the Museum of Science and Industry – one of the largest science museums in the WORLD. After sparking scientific creativity, take a walk on the wild side at the Lincoln Park Zoo – it’ll be un-bear-able to leave!
