Student Travel Tours

St. Louis is the perfect location to combine history and sport to create an educational yet adventurous student group tour for all ages. The home of the mighty Cardinals baseball team (not to mention the Rams, Blues, and numerous successful collegiate teams) St. Louis was established in 1764 as a French trading post. From there, St. Louis gained fortune and fame as the gateway to the west following the Louisiana Purchase. To this day, it is a major port for steamboats travelling the Mississippi and is an integral part of keeping commerce flowing openly throughout the United States.

What To Plan On The Agenda For St. Louis Student Travel Tours
Day one of a St. Louis student travel adventure will kick off with a visit to the Gateway Arch. In 1966 the Gateway Arch was commissioned to commemorate Thomas Jefferson's vision of westward expansion. This breathtaking steel arch (designed by Eero Saarinen) offers beautiful views of the city. While there, students will view a very informative documentary movie, “Gateway To The West”. Dinner on day one is an exciting cruise on the “Mighty Mississippi” on an old fashioned paddleboat. This opportunity to tower 630-feet over the Mississippi River gives students a great view of the city.

The second day of a St. Louis student travel tour will take students on a guided tour of the city. St. Louis student travel tours also include options of art, culture, and nature. After lunch at Planet Hollywood will be a visit to the St. Louis Zoo, one of the top zoos in the world (and entry is free)! After dinner it is off to Grand Prix Karting with the largest go-karts/sprint kart track in the Mid-West.

On the third day students will enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then it is off to the St. Louis Science Center, the Planetarium and Boeing Space Station. Lunch will be enjoyed at the St. Louis Union Station followed up by a behind the scenes tour of the Gateway International Raceway.
